History

What the Pooh started as an idea to get better access to ride data. My sister-in-law built a custom, prototype system using text alerts and API monitoring. My goal was to take that idea and get it published into the app store as a tool for all Disney and Universal fans.

Future versions will potentially include (please send us your requests for future features):

• Real time alerting via web sockets and Apple Push Notifications

• "Where's the nearest bathroom" feature

• Added Universal parks to park tracking list

• Now try to honor ride status' while park is "technically closed". If more than 50 percent of rides are "operating" outside of standard park hours, don't mark rides as closed.

• Honor park hours for notifications
